Facility was very clean and ideal! We were greeted by friendly owner. Spent a nice evening at Paisley's Restaurant, located just next door to the venue. Want to say thanks very much for lovely stay.

Access to local facilities at Windermere/Bowness-on-Windermere as well as the remainder of the Lakes. The use of the leisure facilities at the Parklands Centre was an excellent bonus.

Very nice hotel, very close to the lake and the town centre. Hotel stuff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very nice and had very good design. I like it very much and would like to recommend this nice hotel to everyone.

Location. 10 minute walk into Windermere,20minutes into Bowness.Cleanliness.Good selection of food at breakfast,well cooked and very pleasant staff.We didnt eat in at Dinner,but visitors who did rated the food highly.A very enjoyable break.Added bonus was the car parking.

The Glenburn is a friendly family run hotel that offers good service and value for money. The rooms are clean and well appointed and serviced on a daily basis.

Ideal base for exploring the Lake District. Within walking distance of Windermere town centre and Bowness. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Will use this hotel again when we visit the lakes again.

Pleasant, homely, and very comfortable hotel, helpful staff. Location is between Windermere and Bowness which was fine for us. Would stay there again and recommend it.

the only thing which spoilt our stay was the noise. The floors creaked and you could hear very clearly the people moving about in the room above. We did not sleep as well as we should have. I brought my wife for a romantic 25th anniversary, the room was lovely and clean but it was just the noise.

1) Quiet but accessible location, far enough away from the hubbub of Bowness and Windermere but within easy walking distance of both. 2) Efficient staff who are very friendly without being over-familiar. 3) Lovely room with good facilities

We were very happy with the location and fair services. Breakfast was good but cereals looked like they were older than time, didn't look like much. It was probably the container. Rooms very clean just wrong colours (well that's a preference issue) small bath but ok for space in general. We had a good night sleep. We would love to come back to the area. Thank u for the hospitality (a bit less stressed staff would make more inpression though)...

The hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel itself is cosy.
I find it bizarre that this hotel is only awarded a 2 star hotel whereas the hotels within its area are all 4 - 5 stars. They don't look much different from the outside so find that quite strange.

All the staff were very polite and friendly- really made you feel welcome. We had breakfast and evening meals there and we enjoyed the food. The Spa bath was a nice touch.
Few bad mould patches near curtain area and heating seemed to be on a timer system.

excellent location close to both shops and lakeside, staff very friendly and worked very hard to ensure our stay was special.
some noise from floor boards above the bedrooms but did not spoil our stay car parking space a little limited if hotel is full

Stayed in onsite cottage, which provided the freedom of self catering facilities for the kids with the option of hotel restaurant / bar next door. Free access to partner leisure facilities just over a mile away.
Hotel Wifi did not reach the cottage - to be improved hopefully over the winter
